There have been plenty of rumours recently that Harden would be joining the Lakers, but judging by the current signs, it’s almost impossible for Harden to wear a Los Angeles Lake jersey!
It is understood that many senior Lakers executives have not agreed to trade Harden. Secondly, the 76ers’ asking price also exceeded the Lakers’ expectations. More importantly, Harden has not been recognised by James. Recently, James sent invitations to numerous players to attend next year’s Olympics, but Harden is not on James’ invitation list. Although not an official invitation, James’ decision will obviously make Harden very uncomfortable, just as it did when he failed to make the All-Star team before.
